I booked the sensory room for me and my friend as well as our two babies and it was lovely, lots of equipment for them to play with and watch.  However when I booked, I left a message in the notes to ask if there was pram room in the cafe as it looked quite small, nobody got back to me and it turns out the business itself is upstairs and not pram accessible at all which made us slightly late as we had to go back to the car and put everything back away so we could use the stairs. I did check afterwards and I couldn’t find anything on the website to say it wasn’t pram accessible so something to bare in mind if you’re going there with babies as it wasn’t massively convenient, we also couldn’t use the cafe afterwards.

Our play sessions offer a calm, welcoming space where little ones (up to age 6) can explore, imagine and play freely. Designed with a focus on connection over chaos, children can enjoy thoughtfully set-up play areas while grown-ups relax with a drink and soak in the cosy atmosphere.

I absolutely love Betsy’s Woodland- it’s a lovely environment to have that one on one time with you little ones. The environment is so carefully thought out for all ages 0-7 and has so many different activities to do together. The cafe area is well situated to the play space, which makes it easy if you do want a quick sip of coffee and can still see your child and then get straight back to playing! It’s so clean whenever you visit including the toilets with great changing areas. Just a perfect space to enjoy again and again!

Betsy’s is a lovely calm environment, and I love coming with my little girl.
There are so many beautiful toys and learning resources, the food and drink is brilliant (and well priced), and the cherry on top is that Tess is absolutely lovely!

Such a beautiful play cafe! My 2.5yr old adored it and was thoroughly entertained for the whole session. Full of gorgeous open-ended toys and play ideas. It's also a lovely size, you can sit and enjoy a cuppa whilst having all eyes on your little ones. We had such a special morning, thank you! x

My 18 month old and I love it at Betsy's and have been coming since he was really little! Such a unique play cafe to visit with lots of things to keep the little ones entertained. Tess who runs it is wonderful, very friendly and a great listening ear. The food is so yummy, made fresh by Tess and plenty of choice for adults and children! We also love the sensory room there, it's a nice little escape and very calming with lots to explore. Overall, we'd definitely recommend :)

This was my first visit to Betsy’s and I was very impressed with all the open ended play resources, and the range of equipment.
If you’ve ever wondered where can I take my baby, here is the place to visit.  It is upstairs but just a ring on the bell and you will get support with pushchair etc. 
lovely selection of snack food available, plus free drinks for the little ones. Definitely a place a try

We absolutely loved our visit to this wonderful children’s play café! The space is beautiful, welcoming, and filled with gorgeous wooden toys that make it feel so special and different from other play cafés. The food was absolutely fantastic too—fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care.
A huge shoutout to the incredible owner, Tess, who is so warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a lovely experience for families. You can really feel the love and thought that has gone into every detail.
We had such a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to any family looking for somewhere special to play, eat, and relax! ❤️

I love it here! Been coming since it opened and it's honestly been my saving grace for somewhere safe and easy to go with my 2 under 2! As my boys have grown more confident it's our favourite place to be and my boys love it!
